I am a proud Brainerd High School math teacher. While my focus is on Algebra I and Geometry, I am passionate about helping all students succeed in their educational career. I received my undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University in Chemical Engineering. After a short stint in the chemical industry I moved to Colorado to follow my love for education and non-profit work. While living in Denver I completed a teacher residency program where I met my wife, who is a first grade teacher, and received my Masters Degree in Secondary Education with an endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners. Since then, I have taught 6th grade, 8th grade, integrated math I, Algebra I, and Geometry.  Our move to Chattanooga was driven by a desire to be closer to our families while still enjoying the mountains and outdoor activities. Since working at Brainerd High School I have become a model classroom leader, lead teacher for the Institute of Law, First Responders, and Forensic Science, and clinical instructor for Project Inspire.

I am excited to be a part of the Panther Family and am at your service.  Please reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat about our school!
